We go by the name Winzi.
As collectors of vinyl art toys, we’ve always admired amazing artists and their incredible body of work. We’ve decided to try and do exactly that. Against (almost) every advice and through the rising of some eyebrows and one global pandemic we’ve managed to make our vision come to life. (quite a dramatic statement for the first paragraph isn’t it…).
We strive to touch people through the Winzis’ purity and delicacy while hoping that the Winzi’s can provide some ray of light (or at least some companion in the darkness).
This first Winzi’s series is Produced in limited numbers and includes only 300pc worldwide – 100pc for each character.
The series is called why blue and it includes 3 characters – don’t mind the clouds, keep floating on air and the wheels turn. All 3 names are referring to the obstacles ahead but ensuring a safe journey.
The 3 characters may seem similar to one another but if you look closely you will notice that each type has some slightly different features. Each Winzi carries within them a meaning of transportation, a safety helmet and some “breaking the symmetry” object/design. Can you tell what it is?
The Winzi’s are designed and sculptured via 3d software then printed in SLA material to be used as prototypes. Once printed, the Winsi’s are casted using metal mold and shaped into the (almost) final figures by rotocasting technique. Each Winzi is later sanded and painted manually.
We’re currently located in Tel-Aviv, Israel, prototyping in the Netherlands and manufacturing in China. (we are globalized, and we’re using fancy words as well).

The color pallet is made of various shades of blue with a dash of vibrant pink (the two extremities of the color scale (mood wise). The series is called why blue and each of the 3 figures comes in a Printed Box with a certificate of authenticity.
